Dear Lord,
One of the hardest things for us to do as servants is to listen.
Please guide my ears and my heart when my loved ones speak and voice their concerns.
Let me hear with my heart and not with my own thoughts and assumption.
I want to let my family know that I am here for them no matter what.
Please help me be a good teacher to my children by listening to your instructions and words so they can follow in my footsteps.
Lead me into being a better spouse and help me to become a better friend.
All of this I know I can achieve, if I listen.
