Dear Lord,
Thank you for allowing us to live through another season.
Summer has ended and while it was fun, we are looking forward to new experiences.
Please keep our hearts light and full of love as new things come our way.
Even if we feel like we are doing the same things, let us remember that this year is different from the last and we are different as well as our families.
Also Lord, please help us take off the blinders so that we can absorb the beauty around us.
Help us slow down and join in when our kids are kicking up the leaves.

Great prayer! I love when fall comes. The weather is perfect and breezy to me, the leaves change to a beautiful color, and all the best holidays to spend with family comes around. What is there NOT to be thankful for? He is surely worthy to be praised! 🙂
