Dear Lord,

Every now and then we set standards for ourselves. Be it weight loss, writing, spending time with family or even earning more money.

But we know, Lord, that any gains in our goals that we have made is because it has been your will.

Lord, help us remember that slow progress is still progress and our goals will not be reached over night.

Give us the patience to see our dreams a reality, but also Lord remind us that our relationship with You and our family’s has to be in our sights at all time.

Please teach our families to be supportive as we will be supportive of them.

Also Lord, remind us that not all goals are worth achieving. There are some goals that are best to be left alone.
