Thankful Thursday: Counting

Today, I am linking up with Michelle from Divas With A Purpose–Thankful Thursday.

This Thursday, I am thankful for counting. Yes counting.

I count when I’m frustrated, so that I can remind myself of purpose. Then I calm down.

I count on my loved ones to help when they can, and they know they can count on me as well.

I count to play, and sing and laugh with my children.

I count on my husband, as he does with me.

I am very thankful for counting, because it has so many different meanings to me.

If you haven’t been over at Michelle’s Divas With A Purpose Blog for a Thankful Thursday, then you should really check her out!

Thanks for linking up, Kalley!!! I love this and your using “counting” in multiple contexts. With 3 different stages in my household – toddler (read almost terrible twos!), five year old and the lovely tween years – I relay on numbers 1-10 quite a bit!!!! I, also, try to give each of my kiddos enough one-on-one time so they realize and remember that they each count and have an important role in our household πŸ™‚
Happy Thursday!!!

The lyrics to the song, “you can count on me” comes to mind. Stay blessed and enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi there! I found you via the Thankful Thursday linkup. I like your counting method. I may have to try that when I get frustrated or anxious….I need a calming mechanism.
