I thank you every day for the gift of life.
Every morning when I wake up, I know it is a gift. I wake up knowing that you have bestowed upon me another day. The day is not guaranteed, but you have given me something to look forward to.
When I close my eyes to sleep at night, I am thankful that was able to live through another day.
Each and every day is a gift from You, and I know that it is something that I cannot take for granted.
Regardless of good or bad days, hot or cold, I am going to appreciate the different turns in my life–because I am able to experience it.
This holiday season, I will pray for the families who lost someone close and dear to them.
I will pray that you will help and guide them through their grief.
Also Lord, I will pray that you will continue to remind us of our goals–Your goals for us on this earth.
Amen.
Amen. I receive this prayer. I know someone who has lost someone during the holidays and it is extremely difficult on the family.
Holidays are so hard especially when you lose a loved one right around it. This year, we lost my grandmother (father’s mother) in January. Right after Christmas. I know that my family in Alabama are really feeling it because they were closer to her than I was. But I still miss her presence and our chats on the phone.
Amen.
Thank you Kim. Every prayer counts 🙂
I love the post, im thankful all the time even when im at my lowest! God Bless U! 🙂
