Dear Lord,

Thank you for being there for our families during these hard and difficult times.

Most of us do not know the extent of out human self until we are tested and tried.

This past week, many families faced and are facing a hardship that they never thought was possible.

Please Lord, give them the strength to move one day at a time, one step at a time.

Recovery is not easy, especially when you feel like you hit rock bottom.

However Lord, it is during these hard times that we see real acts of kindness to one another, especially in a place that is viewed as cold.

Please remain with us as we try to carve out a new existence in during an uncertain time.
