With everything that has been going on, I have missed my Sunday prayers on the weekend. I am glad to have this moment to share my prayers with you. I truly enjoy sharing my prayers with you, and I hope that you can find some comfort in them.
This Sunday, my prayer is especially for the children. Many of them started school, and others will begin in September, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t say a prayer for them! Please join me in my prayer.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the wonderful summer that many of us had. Thank you for a chance for us to reconnect with our children, and truly see how they have blossomed under the care of teachers throughout the year.
We ask you Lord, that You continue to watch over our children as they start a new school year. Please keep Your loving arms around them and help them know the differences between right and wrong. As well as when to be leader or a follower.
As their parents, we know that our job is to guide them on Your path, so we ask that You help us teach them a good example by living out Your word.
For some of us who children are older, we ask that You watch over their comings and goings.
Amen.
Hi, Kalley 🙂 good morning! I’m praying along with you and think we can’t pray too much! I am glad you homeschool. I am struck by the fact that many parents DO have to reconnect with their children that go off to school…they do lose contact and sometimes life gets so busy that it is nearly impossible (w/o the dear Lord) to get back what was lost. so my prayer is that families would be able to slow down and stay connected at home (if at all possible). Thanks for staying at home and teaching your children 🙂 Blessings1
