What I thought would take just a few days, turned out longer than expected, but now that it’s done, I’m very happy with my new layout.
There only is a few things that have to be done with my blog, but of course those things will be done over time, nothing should take me offline again.
Getting through the holidays without blogging was hard, but honestly a nice break now that I think about it. For the past couple of days, things have been laid back (aside from going out almost everyday).
Christmas dinner was great. Aside from the main course, I made a Apple Honey Bundt cake which was awesome! I should have taken pictures of it, but by the time I finished the whole meal, I was ready to go to sleep.
The only bad thing that happened during Christmas was the remote control car, that I bought for my husband, broke. He only had it for 2 hours, and then it started smoking so I knew the motor blew. Such a shame though. The good news is that we got all the money back (we better have), and we can get other things for him during the sale season.
This post is sort of all over the place, but that is where my mind is at today. So what did you do for Christmas? Also, how do you like my new layout?

I love the new layout! The background makes your posts much easier to read. Not sure if it’s just me, but the comment box (and boxes above) are a pale shade of pink, with pale grey font. It’s hard to read/review the comment that I am writing.
Glad to hear you guys had a good holiday. What kind of cars is DH into? My DH has been into gas powered and electric RC cars since forever!!! The price of those things are like small investments!

The funny thing is, Mr.C just started to get into RC cars, so time will tell what his preferences are. So far, he’s having more fun with my daughters’s RC robot. hahaha 🙂
My hubs loves those remote control cars also. I will by him one when he graduates from college this summer as a gift shhh. I love the new layout clean and simple. I was thinking of changing my blog to a more cleaner look also. Love it and glad your Christmas was good
Thanks Kita. That is exactly what I was looking for: clean and simple. Although Mr.C would say that this blog layout was anything but simple, but you know how it is. You put a lot of work in just to make it look like no work was done.

Love the new look! Our Christmas was laid back. Everyone was happy with their gifts. Glad its over and ready to head into the new year.
We bought my step daughter and digital camera and it didn’t work. We have to take it back. Such a bummer.
I know the feeling! You get so excited to see that smile on their face with the “perfect” gift, just to find out that it has to be returned.
