Sunday Prayer: Mother’s Day

Dear Lord,

First of all, thank you for giving me the opportunity to become a mother.

Some would say that it was my choice, but we know Lord that it was in your plans.

Thank you for showing me mercy so that I can be merciful with my family.

Thank you for showing me kindness, so that I can follow Your example.

Thank you for allowing my Spirit to nurturing and caring.

Some of us Lord, are called to be mothers to our family’s children, or pets, that counts as motherhood too.

All we ask Lord, is for this day to be drama free.

Amen.
