Dear Lord,

This weekend, the weather has shown its destructive side and affected so many lives in the Philippines.

We know that this storm changed many lives forever, and changed the dynamics of people’s families and sense of peace.

Lord, we ask that you give the people in the Philippines strength to move forward and rebuild their lives.  We ask that you give them our love.  We know that going through this kind of devastation is not easy.

Most of all Lord, we send them our prayers.

Let them know that a world away, we are praying for them.  For their safety, for their well-being, for them to find those that they love, and put to rest those that they lost.

May we touch each other heart to heart.
